Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LumeCode LLC ("LumeCode", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our applications, websites and related services (together, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account details — email address, display name, password (stored in hashed form), and any profile information you add.
- Transactions — records of purchases, in-app currency balances and redemption of episodes. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored on our systems.
- Communications — the content of messages you send to our support team.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — series and episodes viewed, playback position, watch history, searches, taps and in-app navigation.
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and mobile advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings.
- Approximate location — derived from IP address at country or region level, used to determine content availability.
1.3 Information from third parties
If you access the Services through a third-party platform, that platform may share limited account identifiers and interaction data with us, subject to your settings on that platform. We do not receive your password from those platforms.
1.4 Information we receive from TikTok
Some of our Services are delivered as applications on the TikTok platform. When you choose to sign in with TikTok or to connect your TikTok account, we receive the following categories of information through TikTok's developer interfaces, and only after you have granted the corresponding permission:
- Basic profile — your TikTok account identifier, display name and profile image, used to create and recognise your account with us.
- Public content — the list and metadata of videos you have published publicly, where you have authorised us to read it, used to display that content inside our application.
- Content you ask us to publish — when you use a publishing feature, the video file and caption you select are transmitted to TikTok at your direction. We do not publish anything to your account without your explicit action.
We do not receive your TikTok password, your TikTok direct messages, your contact list, or your phone number from TikTok. We do not sell TikTok platform data, we do not use it for advertising to other users, and we do not combine it with data purchased from third parties. Our use of information received from TikTok complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and the TikTok Platform Policy, including the limited-use requirements that apply to platform data.
You can revoke our access at any time from the settings of your TikTok account (Security and permissions, or the Manage apps section). Revoking access stops any further collection. To request deletion of TikTok data we already hold, email admin@lumecode.cc; we will action the request within the period stated in Section 6.

3. How we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Hosting, content delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, email delivery and payment processing providers that act on our instructions under written agreements.
- Distribution platforms. Where you access the Services through a third-party platform, we share the minimum information needed to operate that integration.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a competent authority, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users, LumeCode or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of the information.
Access to personal information is limited to personnel and providers who need it to operate the Services, and is subject to confidentiality and access controls.
4. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there. Where personal information originating in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country not subject to an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards using the contact details below.

6. Your rights
6.1 EEA, UK and Switzerland
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6.2 California and other US states
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of sale or sharing; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. Residents of other states with comparable laws have equivalent rights under those laws.
To exercise any right, email admin@lumecode.cc. We will verify your request using information associated with your account and respond within the period required by applicable law (normally 30 to 45 days). You may use an authorised agent where the law permits.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and the UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites use strictly necessary cookies to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. Where required, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw consent or block cookies through your browser settings. In-app, we use device-level identifiers for analytics and fraud prevention; you can reset or limit advertising identifiers in your device settings.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, hashed credentials and least-privilege access to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
